Therapeutic Stone Massage (Hot & Cold) with Ketoya Monero - 8 hours NCBTMB approved

Students will learn the origin, history and benefits of the use of hot and cold stones with massage therapy. Students will also learn safe, therapeutic ways to utilize hot and cold stones with clients. Also, learn about a variety of different stones and and their purposes in massage therapy. Students will learn how to safely operate a hot stone warmer, prevent injury to self and clients as well as how to utilize equipment for cold stone therapy followed by how to properly clean the stones. Students will also learn how to safely and therapeutically perform a hot and cold stone massage with clients becoming proficient massage therapists.
