Side-Lying Position for Mat Work with Greg Park

This one-day workshop will teach students who practice mat work how to do a full-body session with the client lying on their side. Ideal for everybody, side-lying position is encouraged during pregnancy, for clients with conditions that make either supine or prone positions uncomfortable as well as for therapists who wish to expand their mat-work toolbox. The focus of the workshop will be on the physical application of technique while discussing the benefit from a Shiatsu as well as Thai medical perspective. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. No jeans or skirts/dresses please. Presenter: GREGORY PARK, LMT received his initial training at the Cascade Institute in Eugene, Oregon. Additionally, Greg graduated from the International School of Shiatsu and completed a training in traditional Thai Yoga Massage at the International Society of Traditional Thai Yoga Massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Greg maintains a private practice at the Acupressure Center.
