She is founder of Firefly Hollow Wellness, established in 2013, where she leads a multidisciplinary team of 20 massage therapists and wellness practitioners, and Executive Director of the New Visions Holistic Expo, established in 2001.

Kara's background integrates coaching, massage and bodywork, cupping, kundalini yoga, somatic and nervous-system awareness, breathwork, trauma-informed care, communication, and integrative wellness.
