Many people have heard of the Alexander Technique and assume that it has something to do with posture. Yes and no. Better posture is often a bonus side effect. It is about regaining your innate poise, ease, grace and power as you go about your life. This is especially helpful if your are a massage therapist, but it can be used to help anyone do anything more effectively. In the intoductory class you will learn about F.M. Alexander and the basic components of his technique. You will spend time awakening your kinsethetic sense and exploring activities in which you wish you were more comfortable. You will learn about undoing the habits that no longer serve you so that your innate coordination can come to the forefront of your experience.
