Herbal Compress with Greg Park- 5 hours NCBTMB approved

This workshop will introduce students to the art and practice of making and using traditional herbal compresses. We will discuss the different herbs and their properties as well as exploring what local herbs can be substituted when traditional ingredients may be unavailable. The practice of wrapping the herbs and creating the compresses will be taught and the class will end with ample time to play with and explore the use of the herbal compresses in your massage. Students will be able to take home compresses that are made during the workshop. No previous experience is necessary. Please bring $25.00 to class for herbal supplies.
