About The Event

Ethics for Massage Therapists: is an ethics course which explores the relationship between clients/patients and Massage Therapists within the therapeutic setting. Through a combination of lecture and scenario-based discussion, this class explores the ethical issues that Massage Therapists experience with their clients: including power differential (transference and countertransference), relationship boundaries, bias, and sexual misconduct. Additionally, this course explores the concepts of apotheosis, God complex and appropriate representation of skills.
