Alexander Technique: Working Around the Massage Table with Jenny Briggs

While you may get more from this class if you have attended an Alexander Technique Intro class, it is not required or necessary to have previous AT experience. It is required to be a massage therapist. Learn or review the basic principles of Alexander Technique as they apply to giving a massage. LMTs often work harder than they need to physically in the name of giving a good massage. In this class your will explore how to unwork physcially while thinking more clearly and dynamically about how you are moving and using your own self as you connect with your clients. Different modalities require different uses of the therapist's body.
