Alexander Technique: Hands and Massage Therapy with Jenny Briggs

While you may get more from this class if you have attended an Alexander Technique Intro class, it is not required or necessary to have previous AT experience. Learn or review the basic principles of Alexander Technique as they apply to your hands. Look at the anatomy of your hands and how they connect into and are supported by your whole body. Explore how you can take care of your hands by attending to your whole self and the suport that is around you and within you at all times. If you are comfortable with it, you will recieve gentle hands-on  work and verbal guidance.  If you prefer verbal coaching only that is entirely possible. 

Massage tables are provided by school. Plesase bring sheets and cream.

Jenny Briggs has been a massage therapist since 1998. She studied privately with her AT teacher and then completed the three-year training course to become an certified Alexander Technique instructor herself in 2007.
