At this event, you'll learn about our program and massage therapy's essential role in health and wellness and explore what being a PSMT student is like. You'll experience live massage therapy demonstrations, take a group tour of campus, and learn how PSMT's financial aid and career services teams can help make your dream of a new career a reality.
And remember, our program meets PA, OH, and WV requirements for licensure!
Doors open for the event a half-hour prior, and the program starts promptly. All prospective students and their guests are welcome but must register and have a ticket to enter, as attendance is strictly limited to ticketed guests who arrive at the event's start.
Meeting you and learning about your career goals is essential to our process at PSMT, but personal tours are not offered at Open House events. (It's hard to do them with so many new friends in attendance!) As such, we highly recommend scheduling your personal tour to ensure all your specific questions are answered in a 1-on-1 setting.
An application session will be held after the event, so please bring a copy of your education credential (High School diploma or GED) if you plan on applying. PSMT's online application takes 10 minutes and can be found at psmt.edu/apply
PSMT is conveniently located at 3600 Laketon Road, Pittsburgh, PA, 15235.
Your Journey in Massage Therapy Begins Here!

Do I need to print a ticket to the PSMT Open House event? No! You will get a confirmation email that serves as your entry to the event.

How is PSMT's Open House different than your typical open house?Great question! The PSMT Student Experience is important to us, and you need specific information to decide on attending massage therapy school. Our open house event is an interactive presentation lasting about an hour and 45 minutes, with a beginning, middle, and end. There is essential information and demonstrations throughout, not your typical "stop by anytime" open house format. Doors open half an hour before the event starts to ensure time for you and your guests to arrive, get refreshed, perhaps meet some new people, and be comfortably settled by the event's start.
-
What should I bring to the open house?A calm, open mind and all the reasons you are considering a career in massage therapy. Aside from that, please bring anyone supporting your decision- all are welcome. And if you plan on applying during the application session, please bring a copy of your education credential (high school diploma or GED). If you'd like to get a head start on your application, you can apply online at PSMT.edu/apply.
-
What are my transport and parking options for getting to the event? Please visit PSMT.edu/map for the most up-to-date information on transportation, parking, and wayfinding.
-
Can I speak to admission, financial aid, career services, housing, faculty, and PSMT students at the event? We are happy to answer general questions on event day, but as you can imagine, specific questions are challenging with so many new friends in attendance. So we highly recommend scheduling a personal tour to make sure your questions are answered in a 1-on-1 setting. When you register for this event, you will be contacted by our admissions team for a short welcome call- so be sure to schedule a personal tour!
