Prenatal Massage with Ketoya A. Monero - 8 hours PA approved

Attendees will learn the benefits of massage for prenatal and postpartum clients. We will discuss the week by week fetal development while in utero. We will also discuss safety precautions and contraindications regarding prenatal massage as well as how to safety perform a therapeutic massage during pregnancy and postpartum. Students will learn the emotional and physical challenges pregnant women face and the value of self-care for prenatal clients as well as massage therapists.

Upon completion of the course, students will be comfortable and knowledgeable in performing a prenatal massage safely and. confidently.

Please bring to class: note taking materials, set of sheets, blanket, lotion/cream/oil, towels, face cradle cover, 2 pillows (or a body pillow) for the hands-on portion of the class. The instructor does not have extra sheets.

Certificates will be given to students at the end of the class that day.

Massage tables will be provided by the school.
